How To Defeat Your Enemies

Some would suggest, why aren't we addressing the social issues and ills that are plaguing our nation and the world such as: the economy, health care, the conflicts in the Middle East, the conflict with Libya and other important issues. While these issues are critical, our focus through this blog is on us and the enemies we are facing and fighting in our personal lives. Is the Black Church Dead?

Dr Eddie Glaude, Jr., a professor of Religion at Princeton University, has sparked a heated debate regarding the Black Church. Dr. Glaude submitted a commentary that claims the Black Church is dead and no longer relevant. He supports his claim by suggesting: 1) the Black Church has always been complicated spaces; 2) the Black community is more differentiated today and 3)the Black Church witness has become just a routine voice. The question is "How does the Black Church respond to this claim and show itself alive and well?"
