Dr Eddie Glaude, Jr., a professor of Religion at Princeton University, has sparked a heated debate regarding the Black Church. Dr. Glaude submitted a commentary that claims the Black Church is dead and no longer relevant. He supports his claim by suggesting: 1) the Black Church has always been complicated spaces; 2) the Black community is more differentiated today and 3)the Black Church witness has become just a routine voice.
The question is "How does the Black Church respond to this claim and show itself alive and well?"
